LESS SNAG - The fore runner of the modern day Walleye head fishing jig. The angled sides on this fishing jig were supposedly to make it more snagless. Produced using early models of Do-it "Sportsman's" mold model "JLS-7N-A".
Head only / no collar in stated weights as follows: 1/32, 1/16, 3/32, 1/8, 1/4, 3/8 & 5/8.
Rock Fly - Another fore runner to the modern Walleye head fishing jig. The jighead casting is much cruder than the "Less Snag" fishing jig above but it has a collar. Produced using early model Do-it "Sportsman's" mold model "J65B" with stated weights as follows: 1/8, 1/4, 3/8 & 1/2. This fishing jig head has the hook eye is well to the front of the jighead so it should not hang up in the rocks too bad hence the "Rock Fly".
Round Jig - Roundhead fishing jigs cast from early "Sportsman's" model Do-it mold model "J67RA" feature a straight collar in stated weights as follows: 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 3/16, 3/8, 3/4.
BABY JIG - ROUND BALL fishing jig heads cast from an "old" Do-It MANUFACTURERS mold model "J66SR" a double sided mold which casts 8 X 1/16 size on one side and 8 X 1/8 size on the other. The fishing jig hooks eye placement is well to the front of the fishing jig head so it is not center balanced! No weights are marked on the mold so the weights are approximate.
1/4 & 1/8 ROUNDHEAD - Now known as ROUND BALL head fishing jigs these are cast from another double sided Do-It mold model "JNR-12-48" which casts 6 X 1/4 Round Ball fishing jig heads on one side and 6 X 1/8 oz Round Ball fishing jig heads on the other. This fishing jig will be close to center balanced as the fishing jig hook eye is in the center of the jighead as is the hook shank.
1/8 Round Jig - 1/8 oz Roundhead fishing jigs with plain collar cast from another "old" Do-It MANUFACTURERS mold model "J67R18". The collar is placed towards the top of the fishing jig head on this one compared to being relatively centered on the newer models and the fishing jig hook eye is centered on the round ball portion if the jighead.
POPEYE JIGS - Herters molds 4G4, 4G2 & 4G0 (unmarked) Popeye style fishing jigs in 1/4, 1/2 & 1 oz. sizes. Truly primitive casting requires a lot of cleanup before painting so please email for a price quote before considering this one!
ROUNDHEAD JIGS - From the PALMER 560 fishing jig mold. 1/16, 1/8 & 1/4 oz. stubby collar fishing jigs. I will use a later version of this mold to produce the better quality fishing jighead unless you specify the older mold be used as we have both.
HILTS MOLDS - We are also casting a few fishing jigs from our HILTS fishing jig molds in the 1/32 & 1/16 oz Roundhead barbed collar jighead sizes. They are ideal for Perch, Sunfish & Crappie fishing trips!
