BABBIT IS NOT A SUITABLE SUBSTITUTE FOR LEAD! It is a lead based alloy of lead and antimony. Federal regulations require a lead content of less than 1%, so Babbit must not be considered for use as a lead substitute.

In comparison to the present supplies of lead jigs currently available on sporting goods store shelves we may be slightly higher, but we also produce only quality products with quality hooks. There is no extra charge to you for custom color combinations as all our products are hand painted with our lead-free Heat-N-Dip paints.
