Just stumbled upon this. My son is Samuel Merriman Gilpin, named for his great-grandfather, Kenneth Arthur Merriman, originally from Toronto in the 1890s, sister of Mildred, son of Maude. I'd love to know anything more about this wonderful family.

I enjoyed your web page. I have a great deal of ancestry in South Carolina, with an Irish background before that. I was told when my ancestors came over from Ireland, it was spelled O'Merriman. The O' was later dropped to avoid persicution.

Nicely arranged. You may need to recode your RA file with your server though. I get the computerese printout and not the sound. The same happened to me the first time. It's just a one letter difference in the .ra. I just can't remember off hand what it was, something like .ram but your server will know which one they support. Meanwhile I'm working on another page at Geocities. It's still under construction right now, but check them out. It's a free page location and they have neat services like irc in netscape of all things. Best to the family from all of us here on the rock. :-)
