THE FIRST SHOOT AT OUR NEW CAS FACILITY:

THOUGH IT WAS UNSEASONABLY WARM AND DRY WHILE THE BALE PLACEMENT AND OTHER INITIAL RANGE CONSTRUCTION WAS TAKING PLACE, THE 2004 VICTORIA DAY LONG WEEKEND TURNED OUT TO BE UNSEASONABLY COLD AND WET FOR OUR FIRST SHOOT AT THE NEW FACLITY .... ALTHOUGH THE WEATHER CONDITIONS SERVED TO KEEP A FEW FAINT-HEARTED SOULS AWAY, WE STILL WENT AHEAD AND SHOT.

(UNFORTUNATELY, THE RAIN KEPT UP AND THE GROUND WAS SO SLICK BY SUNDAY THAT WE FELT OBLIGED TO CALL OFF THE SECOND DAY OF SHOOTING, FOR SAFETY REASONS ....)
