Without you, there would be no drama program and I thank you for your support. 

I have established this web page so that you and your child can have access to information about the drama program at MHHS, about the school, ask questions, communicate ideas and provide you with other, relevant links to sites that I think you might find interesting.

There are four main areas, and each one contains different kinds of information.

Curriculum:

"What will my kid be doing in Drama 9?" "What do you mean when you say theatre studies?" For those of you who would like the official, Province of Alberta answer, this link should help.

 

Evaluation:

Parents and students alike often wonder how I arrive at a particular mark. This link will lead you to some examples of the marking guides (rubrics), that I use in the class. 

 

Course Outlines:

This is a copy of the handout that I give to students at the beginning of the year. It outlines my expectations, my marking guidelines and an overview of what we will be studying that term.

 

Parent Links:

These are links that I think you might find useful in your job as parent. Topics include legal information, information about children's services, divorce issues and parenting. If you have any other sites that you think might be useful for other parents, please let me know.
